Goodbye 2009, Hello 2010

okay...here is another post. my first one with pics. i know you are all way psyched out of your mind about it. don't judge me for the lack of good format. i am trying my best and hope you enjoy this. it is kind of long but i thought it would be good to have.

•  What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
• ride on a scary zipline at lake powell!!! it was bomb diggitty!

• Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
• i didn't make any legit resolutions for last year. i will for sure be making some for this coming year and i'm stoked about them.

•  Did anyone close to you give birth?
• bomb cousins brit, and abby.

• three of my great friends/roommates from snow shayla, shauna, and erika 
• oh my word...there was something in the water here at work. three of my co-worker friends gave birth too.
• pretty much all i'm trying to say is a ton of people i know gave birth. they all have beautiful babies too. 
  

• Did anyone close to you die?
• nope, thankfully.

• What countries did you visit?
• none. :(

• What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
• my mission call or a bachelor's degree. and money.

• What date(s) from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
• july 1st. the day that my best friend britnee left on her mission.

• What was your biggest achievement of the year?
• recovering from mono and, in turn running my very first half marathon with her

• What was your biggest failure?
• not being able to go on my mission until 2010 because of diabetes. :( i'm not proud of it.

•  Did you suffer illness or injury?
• refer to biggest achievement question...

• What was the best thing you bought?
• a 42" hd tv...with a gift card...compliments of my place of employment!!!!

• Whose behavior merited celebration?
• my grandma betty lou, survivor of lung cancer.
• my parents of course of always being there.
  

• Where did most of your money go?
• school, school, housing, food, school, books, and school.
  

•  What did you get really, really, really excited about?
• road trip to cali with these beautiful besties...

• Party in the USA.

• Compared to this time last year, are you:

i. happier or sadder? i am happier. keeps happening every day! I LOVE LIFE!!!
ii. thinner or fatter? fatter, sadly.
iii. richer or poorer? the second one. i don't like to say it. but at least i have more of an education. :)

• What do you wish you'd done more of?
• read.
• played.
• exercise.

•  How will you be spending Christmas?
• with my famdizzle in laytown.

• Did you fall in love in 2009?
• with life, yes. a boy, no.

• grey's, or arrested development.

• Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
• just one person that i can think of. i'm not going to name names because i think that is mean. and no one knows i hate this person.

•  What was the best book you read?
• i would have to say "on the road to heaven." i have not finished it yet...but i am falling in love with it and i'm almost done!

• F.U.N.

• memories and happieness.

• 21. My family threw me a surprise party. it was great.

•  i think it is a huge issue that a lot of american's do not know much about our political issues and i'm one of those

• Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009.
• family is who will be there when you need someone. i learned who my true friends are. i learned that life needs to be taken less seriously. i can do things that i want to...like giant zip lines...if i put my mind to it. the gospel of Jesus Christ is the key to happiness and it is true.
