dodgeball.

so. i just joined a dodgeball league with my friends kelly, whitney, syd, and jamie...and some other way fun girls that i'm way excited to get to know better. our first game was so fun!!!! i can't even tell you how much we laughed. you wouldn't believe it. just know that it was pure happiness and joy. haha.

 my favorite play of the night was made by me...(and i'm not sharing this to brag. there was no skill involved in this whatsoever. it was pure luck. but super funny.)

we were slowly dwindling down to another loss and i knew that i needed to catch some balls to get some of our teammates out of jail. i had a ball in my hand and noticed that there were a couple of girls on the other team that were going to gang up on me and try to get me out. i had to be ready for whatever they threw my way. well the first girl threw her ball. it was a low shot and i knew that i was not going to catch it with my hands. so i closed my legs at the right time and somehow caught the ball in between my legs. soon after came the other ball. mind you i still had a ball in my hands. it was coming straight to me so i opened my hands and grabbed that ball like there was no tomorrow. somehow i didn't drop the ball soon after. i was standing there with three balls in my posession laughing my face off. i almost peed my pants. seriously. it was funny. i think i got out soon after that. probably because i couldn't focus.

but really. we had a great time and we decided that the girls who play are serious and in it to win it. we will soon be holding team practices to improve our skillz.

one more thing i must add. dodgeball is a great work out! haha. i am WAY sore. like...my arm feels like i just did p90x three times. but only with my right arm. and the rest of my body is sore from all the running and dodging! haha. i love it.
