livin on the edge.

can i just start by saying how lucky i have been this last year? lucky i have not been pulled over, hit by another car, or most of all, hit another car. today i went to get my official base id because my temporary expires soon. i get up to the lady after waiting for ten minutes in line and she says that they can't issue me a badge because my drivers license is not valid. i sit there sooo confused as to why this would happen. thinking that maybe i got a ticket from one of those camera things on the freeway (kiana introduced those to me from her personal experience.) or possible a parking ticket that blew off of my windsheild. i really could not think of anything. so i call the dmv and find out that my dr.'s office never sent my paperwork to the dmv for my diabetes.
i get talking to them and find out that my license has been suspended since JANUARY of 2010!!!! i know for a fact that i sent the right paperwork to my dr. last year. someone there dropped the ball big time or someones fax machine was not working. WHAT A NIGHTMARE it was been trying to get all of this situated. gosh. don't ever get diabetes. or just don't work on base. haha. they tell you things you don't want to hear. now i can't drive and i have to walk onto the base to get to work. "mom, can you give me a ride to work?" sounds like back in the day of jr high and high school. haha.
for all of you that thought you didn't know a criminal...guess again...you are reading her blog. i have been driving sooo illegally the last year. now let's hope we can get this thing situated soon. i know that because i found that out today, while i'm driving home tonight, i will get pulled over. hopefully it really doesn't...but it would be my luck.
